Nisabost beach
Harris is a beautiful island with a wide range of stunning landscapes. The North of the island is rugged and mountainous; the West coast has some of the most spectacular beaches you could ever hope to find – with white sand and the most amazing turquoise seas, and the East coast provides a panorama of picturesque bays, inlets and villages.
Strathview is ideally placed for walking and cycling in the North Harris hills and is a short drive from the Isle of Scalpay with its magnificent lighthouse, West coast beaches such as Seilebost, Luskentyre and Scarista, and the glorious twists and turns of the Golden road to the east.
Harris is ideal for bird watching and wildlife – look out for golden eagles, sea eagles, dolphins, seals, otters and red deer in particular.
